Picture this: a journey from Washington's iconic monuments to rubbing elbows with our congressional delegate on Capitol Hill. Yep, Close-Up students are diving headfirst into the American political system, figuring out their role in our democracy along the way.

Now, here's the exciting scoop: Fifty three members of the Williston High School senior class are gearing up for the Close-Up adventure to Washington D.C. March 16-22, 2024. And they've been busy fundraising to make it happen.

The students want you to join them at a pancake breakfast fundraiser on Sunday, January 21, from 9:00 am to Noon at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Gym. What's on the menu? Pancakes, sausages, juice, and coffee – all for a free-will donation!

By flipping pancakes and sipping coffee with them, you're not just treating your taste buds; you're also chipping in to help cover the trip costs for these bright students. It's a win-win – delicious breakfast and support for our local kids. See you there!
