Mad Max’s Weekend in 5 Pics
Saturday Morning I went to the Williston Downtowner's Main Street Market. There was a special addition: youth vendors! Kids were set up alongside the usual vendors selling their homemade, homegrown, and handmade goods! I picked up some chocolate chip banana bread from one of the usual vendors and 2 Scrunchies from youth vendor Hannah.
I wend out to Williston XWA Airport to see a bit of the Third Annual Williston Basin Air Show.. I was amazed at what the Pilots can do. I get dizzy just thinking about it. It was windy! Unfortunately I couldn't stay as long as I wanted to because the wind hurt my ears. My ears are super sensitive to wind and I was getting earaches. Wish I had bought a winter beanie with me.
I did some thrift store shopping downtown on Saturday afternoon. Here's my find of the day from Wise Penny. A cute piece of oval artwork.
I'm having a hard time deciding on a new cell phone. Sunday I met my friend Jesse for coffee and to discuss phones. I'm thinking of changing from an iPhone to Samsung.
Found out recently that due to long-term staffing shortages, starting September 1, five locations across the U.S. will be shutting down home delivery, two of which are located in Minot and in Williston. The company said they’ve had no success filling the jobs needed to keep things operational. You can still order online, but I'll miss seeing these trucks.
