Weather Watchers Wanted: Join SKYWARN Storm Spotter Training in Williston North Dakota

Through the SKYWARN Storm Spotter Training program, which the National Weather Service (Bismarck office) and Williams County Emergency Management are jointly organizing, residents of Williston and Williams County will have the chance to better their understanding of severe weather phenomena on April 4, 2024. This event is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the Williams County Emergency Operations Center (EOC), located at 3429 4th Ave. W. This educational initiative aims to equip all attendees with essential knowledge about thunderstorm formation and associated hazards, including flash floods, tornadoes, lightning, wind, and hail.
