Kick Off the Holiday Season at Flurries of Fun in Sidney, MT on Dec. 8

For many, the holiday season kicks off with a community celebration full of fun, laughter, and a touch of magic—and that’s exactly what you’ll find at Flurries of Fun at the MonDak!
On Sunday, December 8th, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, head over to the MonDak Heritage Center in Sidney, MT, for a FREE event perfect for the whole family. Whether you’re getting into the spirit of the season or looking for a fun afternoon activity, this event has something for everyone.
Here’s what’s in store:
- Photos with Santa in a beautifully decorated space—bring the kiddos for a magical (and free!) photo op!
- A free craft project where kids can create their own watercolor snowflakes to take home.
- Live music and dance performances from talented local artists.
- A special reading by author Mary Anne Mercer from her new book, Crossing the Yellowstone: The Saga of a Montana Ranching Family, followed by a book signing.
- A bake sale with delicious treats—spend $10 or more and earn a raffle ticket for the Snowflake Gift Giveaway! Bakers, please consider donating your talents and goodies to the bake sale. Baked goods can be dropped off this week on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
- Purchase unique, locally made snowflake ornaments and be entered to win an amazing snowflake-themed prize.
The MonDak Heritage Center, Eastern Montana’s premier museum and the arts & cultural hub of Richland County, will also showcase new art and history exhibitions, so there’s plenty to explore. Doors open at 1:00 PM, and the festivities run until 3:00 PM.
