Taking on Cancer in North Dakota: Bras for a Cause’s Big Bash

Bras for a Cause is an awesome local non-profit on a mission to help out folks in Williston and the nearby areas who are fighting cancer. They're all about making sure nobody has to battle this tough journey alone.

With the fantastic support of our community, Bras for a Cause has raised over $1.5 million for those in need. Now, they're all pumped up for their 11th Annual Bra Auction. It's going down on October 21 at the Multi-Purpose Building in the Upper Missouri Valley Fairgrounds, Williston.

Now, here's where your creativity comes in. Are you the crafty and artistic type? Dust off your glue guns and artistic skills, and create a unique BRA to be donated and auctioned. During the auction, live models will showcase your imaginative creations. The deadline for decorated bras is Wednesday, October 18. They can be dropped off at Buster's Bar, downtown Williston.

Bras for a Cause is also on the lookout for sponsors and donated items for their Silent Auction and Live Auction. For more details, just give Denise a call at 701-570-1574.

This event is strictly for those who are 21 and up and they've got a Cash Bar ready to roll. And, don't forget to bring your appetite for the Free Will Feed. The doors open at 3:00 pm, with the Silent Auction starting at 4:00 pm and the Live Auction kicking off at 6:00 pm.

Can't make it to the event? No worries! You can still make a big impact by taking on the Bras for a Cause 10 for 10 challenge. It's as simple as making a $10 donation each month for ten months or doing a one-time $100 donation. With your support, they can keep providing financial assistance to those who need it.
