Williston, ND Contestant Battles on Fox Game Show for $250K

Big trivia fan? Love game shows? Then you’ll want to tune in for Season 3 of The Floor on Fox, hosted by actor Rob Lowe. It’s a high-stakes trivia showdown where 100 contestants battle it out on a giant LED game floor, trying to take over territory—and if they dominate the board, they win a whopping $250,000.

And this season, Williston’s own Cody Tebo is in the mix!

Cody, 38, has called Williston home since 2012. Originally from Hillman, Michigan, he works as an electrician for Northern Valley. He’s engaged to Lexi and is a proud dad to Miley (12) and Jayden (9). When Cody's not working, you’ll find him spending time with his family and dogs or out at the lake wakeboarding in the summer.

So how did Cody end up on national TV? While watching The Floor last year, his kids convinced him to try out. The application process was no joke—Cody almost didn’t go through with it! Good thing he did, because after multiple phone and Zoom interviews, he got the call: he was in!

And here’s a cool bonus—since the show films in Dublin, Ireland, Cody also scored an all-expenses-paid trip overseas! He says Ireland is a must-visit and recommends anyone thinking about game shows to just go for it.

As for how he did? That’s top secret! You’ll have to watch and see. Season 3 kicks off Sunday, February 9th, right after the Super Bowl, then moves to its regular spot on Wednesdays at 8:00pmCT on Fox.
