Join The Cause: Williston, ND Water World Golf Tournament Fundraiser

Oh, I have such fond memories of summers spent at the outdoor pool when I was a kid! I practically lived there; my hair would turn this crazy shade of green from all the chlorine, and it stayed that way for months! It's a shame that local kids haven't had that kind of fun in years, but guess what? Things are changing!

Williston Community Builders and the Pool Action Committee are teaming up to bring  an outdoor pool and water park to Williston! The city donated a prime spot next to Cutting Field—perfect for what they're calling Williston Water World.

They broke ground on this dream project in August 2023. And they're not stopping there! They've even got a fun way to keep the momentum going: the 3rd Annual Williston Water World Golf Tournament.

Picture this: teeing off with friends and neighbors in an 18-hole scramble, all for a good cause. The shotgun start is at 10:00 am on July 25 at Eagle Ridge Golf Course. You can sign up as a team or even sponsor a hole—drinks and appetizers included, of course!

Plus, beyond the pool, these builders have been busy making Williston even more awesome with projects like playgrounds, splash pads, and a community garden. They're definitely making our town a better place to be.
