Halloween may be over, but the spirit of giving continues! Messer Dental’s annual Treats for Troops candy drive was a huge success, thanks to your generosity.

This year, Messer Dental in Williston, collected and mailed an incredible 215 pounds of candy—spread across nine boxes—to Soldiers' Angels. The candy will be distributed in care packages to deployed troops, bringing them a little sweetness and a lot of smiles.

Candy Buyback: Turning Treats into Treasures
The Treats for Troops program is part of Messer Dental’s annual Halloween candy buyback event. These events are a win-win for families: kids trade in their leftover candy for rewards like cash, toys, school supplies, or vouchers for fun activities. At Messer Dental, participating kids received $1 per pound of candy (up to $5 per child).

It’s more than just a chance to clear out extra treats. Events like these teach kids the joy of sharing and the power of giving back to others.

About Treats for Troops and Soldiers' Angels
Messer Dental partners with Soldiers' Angels, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting military members, veterans, and their families. Through programs like Treats for Troops, Soldiers' Angels ensures that donated candy goes to good use—providing a taste of home to service members stationed far away. Their motto, "May No Soldier Go Unloved," is at the heart of their mission to make every soldier feel remembered and valued.
