Mad Max’s Weekend in 5 Pics (June 13-15 2025)
Greetings radio family, it’s your girl Mad Max. I hope you had a nice weekend. In addition to dog sitting, I was able to squeeze in a few community events.
Friday Night In
Friday night, I stayed in with the pups and watched a Netflix original series called “Tires.” It's a workplace comedy about a struggling auto-repair shop called Valley Forge Automotive Center.
Hot Rods, Harleys and Little Surprise in Sidney
On Saturday, I went to Sidney to check out the 4th Annual Hot Rods & Harleys Summer Kickoff at the Richland County Fairgrounds. It's a fun event that features commercial and food vendors, live music, and my favorite - classic cars.
I had a pleasant surprise when I ran into three of the Williston Courthouse Cafe crew. Ginny, Jason and Megan had come over to cook burgers and sell their delicious baked goodies. I snapped a pic with them. Ginny & Jason's cat Sophia is a fan of the Big Butt Morning Show, and she listens to it every morning with them.

Stepping Back in Time at Fort Union
Afterwards, I went to Fort Union Trading Post for the 42nd Annual Fort Union Rendezvouz. It's really wonderful that the region's largest living history event is right in our own backyard. I enjoyed checking out the period goods and crafts on Trader's Row and I learned a lot visiting with the reenactors.
Remembering Papa on Father's Day
Sunday, was Father’s Day, the first without my dad who passed away in September. In his memory I listened to Jimmy Buffet music real loud and ate McDonalds. Two of his favorite things.
Thanks for looking at my photos. Until next time.
