A new month means new exhibits, classes, and creative fun at the James Memorial Art Center in Williston.
Current Exhibits
Now on display in Gallery 1 Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site. Peruse a display of photos, artwork, and artifacts from Fort Union.
On display in Gallery 2 is the work of Meghan Bartz. Stunning photos and acrylic paintings.
Artist Reception on June 20
Stop in for the artist reception from 6:00pm - 7:30pm refreshments will be served.
Game Nights on June 14 and June 28
Head downstairs at The James from 7:00 PM to Midnight. Bring your favorite board, card or RPG games and some friends and snacks, or join in on a game with others. Free and open to all.

Art & Wine Walk on June 19
Sip, Stroll & Savor the Arts. Support local artists, discover unique shops, and enjoy a glass (or two) as you explore. The James Memorial is the starting point for the walk. Get your tickets here.
Art Fest on June 21
Williston’s largest outdoor arts & crafts festival is at Recreation Park from 10:00am to 4:00pm. While you’re soaking up the local art, don’t miss your chance to meet some adorable, adoptable cats brought to you by Rescue and Retirement Ranch (ARRR).
They’re looking for artist, craft & food vendors, original art donations for the auction, and sponsors. For more details, click here.
Spotlight on June 27
Enjoy a featured artist and then grab the open mic and show off an original poem, play a guitar solo, or do stand-up comedy. All ages and experience levels are welcome. Sign up in advance here.
Youth Art Classes Starting on June 30
Underwater Series Youth Art Classes with Miranda Melberg. Each session includes step-by-step guidance, fun ocean facts, and plenty of room for imagination! Spots are limited. Class schedule and registration here.
