Mondak Animal Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the promotion of animal welfare. The purpose of the society is the... Prevention of cruelty to animals. Reduction of animal overpopulation through the prevention of unwanted births. Promotion of an aggressive adoption program which will seek suitable homes for animals without owners. Extension of humane education for the public. They operate out of the Buck Scheele Family Animal Center in Williston.

There are many ways to get involved with Mondak Animal Rescue. Adopt, donate, volunteer, be a friend. The community is invited to join them for the following fundraisers.

There's still time to get raffle tickets for the Second Annual Lucky Paws raffle. $25.00 per ticket. Limited to 250 tickets. Ends March 31 or when all tickets are sold. Purchase raffle tickets at the Buck Scheele Family Animal Center at 6207 1st Ave West, Williston, ND.

The Hippity Paw-Pity Event is Saturday, April 1st. Come brunch with them at the shelter. $5 plated lunch of pancakes, sausage, eggs and beverage provided by 3 Amigos and McDonalds. If the weather cooperates there will be a petting zoo ($1) and train rides ($2). There may even be an Easter Bunny Hopping around so you can have the opportunity to capture a picture. The event is from 12:00 pm/central time to 2:00 pm/central time at the Buck Scheele Family Animal Center.

Tickets are on sale for the upcoming Spay-ghetti & No Balls Dinner. This fundraiser is May 8th at the Upper Missouri Valley Fairgrounds in the Beer Garden Building at 5:30pm/ct. 3-Amigos will be serving up a plated dinner of "Spay-ghetti and No Balls," Side Salad and Garlic Bread.  This family friendly event will have games, a silent auction and music/karaoke by RJ. Tickets are $15 for Adults (12 yrs old and up),
$10 for Kids (3 yrs old to 11 yrs old), 2 yrs old and under are FREE
