Williston’s Entertainment Inc! Hits the Stage this Weekend
Williston's Entertainment, Inc! has bee a valuable part of the community since 1981. Each season, volunteers work to create a season of five productions. You can attend a performance of their current production now. You're a Good Man Charlie Brown by Clark Gesner is based on the beloved Charles Schulz comic strip. Charlie Brown and the entire Peanuts bunch explore life's great questions as they play baseball, struggle with homework, sing songs, swoon over their crushes, and celebrate the joy of friendship.
This is great musical theatre! With charm, wit, and heart, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown explores life through the eyes of Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang. It's a revue of songs and vignettes directed by B. Michael Quale and Assistant Director Sarah Favorite. The cast includes Gio Johnson as Charlie Brown, Bryn Bothe as Sally, B. Michael Quale as Schroeder, Renae Evanson as Lucy, Roger Holderman as Linus and Jessie Groteau as Snoopy. Renae Rike-Fee is the Musical Director, and the musical numbers include "My Blanket and me," "The Kite," "The Baseball Game," "Little Known Facts," "Suppertime," and "Happiness".
Guaranteed to please audiences of all ages. Performances at 7:00pm on Friday, February 17, Saturday the 18 and Monday the 20th , plus a matinee at 2:00pm Sunday, February 19. All performances are at the Old Armory, downtown Williston. Individual adult tickets are $20, student tickets are $10.
Your a Good Man, Charlie Brown is the fourth production of the season. Once complete, they will be holding auditions for the fifth and final production of the season, One Strange Night by Brad Dokken. Even if you aren't up for auditioning, there are many opportunities to get involved. Volunteers assist with the behind-the-scenes duties of a production. Volunteers perform, sew costumes, sell tickets, run lights, build sets, work backstage, etc. Performances for One Strange Night will be April 20-24th. Audition dates have yet to be determined.
They are still in need of volunteers to help with their production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Some positions they are looking for are, Ushers, concessions workers and cleanup crew. They offer a free ticket to the show on the night you volunteer.
