
Williston, ND’s Entertainment, Inc! Unveils a Must-See 2024-2025 Season
Ready for some top-tier entertainment in Williston? Say hello to Entertainment, Inc!—a nonprofit arts organization that’s been rocking the local scene since 1981. What started as a humble choral group has blossomed into a lively community theater, bringing all kinds of plays and musicals to the good folks of Western North Dakota and Eastern Montana. Their mission? To light up the local arts scene with unforgettable performances!
Announcing the 2024-2025 Season
Speaking of performances, they’ve just rolled out their 2024-2025 season, and it’s all happening at The Old Armory in downtown Williston.
Don’t Miss "Marvin's Room" This October
First up on the marquee is "Marvin's Room," a must-see show running from Thursday, October 3, through Sunday, October 6. Catch the magic at 7:00 pm from Thursday to Saturday, or enjoy a Sunday matinee at 2:00 pm.
Auditions for "Marvin's Room" Are Open!
If you’re feeling the urge to step into the spotlight, why not audition for a role in "Marvin's Room"? Open auditions are happening on Sunday, August 18, and Monday, August 19, at 7:00 pm in the Old Armory Lower Level. No experience needed—just bring your passion!
Volunteer and Enjoy the Show for Free
Not the acting type? No worries! Entertainment, Inc. is also looking for ushers, concession workers, and a cleanup crew for the show. As a thank you, volunteers get to watch the show for free on their volunteer night. Interested? Sign up here.

- Marvin's Room | October 3-6, 2024 | Directed by B. Michael Quale
- This heartfelt and darkly funny play by Scott McPherson centers on Bessie, a woman caring for her ailing father for twenty years. When Bessie is diagnosed with leukemia, she reconnects with her estranged sister Lee and troubled nephew Hank, navigating a complex mix of emotions and finding unexpected love along the way. Recommended for ages 12 and up.
- The Game's Afoot or Holmes for the Holidays | December 5-8, 2024 | Directed by Sarah Favorite
- A comedic murder mystery by Ken Ludwig, this play follows Broadway star William Gillette, who’s famous for playing Sherlock Holmes. When he invites his cast members to his lavish home for a Christmas Eve bash, things take a dark turn as one of the guests ends up dead. Gillette must channel his inner Holmes to crack the case in a night full of hidden secrets and hilarious twists. Recommended for ages 12 and up.
- Drinking Habits | February 13-16, 2025 | Directed by Jim Ryen
- This uproarious comedy by Tom Smith is set in a small convent where two nuns, Sister Augusta and Sister Philomena, secretly brew wine to keep the convent financially afloat. When their covert operation is discovered by a nosy reporter and a new, suspicious Mother Superior, chaos ensues. Expect mistaken identities, misunderstandings, and plenty of laughs! Recommended for ages 12 and up.
- Legally Blonde | April 23-27 & May 1-4, 2025 | Directed by J.C. LaBar
- Based on the hit film, this high-energy musical tells the story of Elle Woods, a fashion-forward sorority girl who heads to Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend, Warner. Along the way, she discovers her own strengths and smarts, proving that being true to yourself is always in style. With catchy tunes, dynamic dances, and a feel-good message, this show is all about empowerment and self-discovery. Recommended for ages 12 and up.
