Calls for Service

Animal Control responded to 164 calls in March and the number stayed exactly the same in April.  

Animal Intake

April brought in more animals than March. 

  • March: 11 cats, 17 dogs, 2 others
  • April: 20 cats, 27 dogs, 0 others

Returned to Owner

April also saw more reunions between pets and their people. 

  • March: 0 cats, 10 dogs, 1 other 
  • April: 5 cats, 18 dogs, 0 others 

Adopted & Rescued

There was a shift here, more rescues in April, but fewer adoptions. 

  • March: 7 rescued, 11 adopted 
  • April: 15 rescued, 3 adopted

Animal Control issued 2 citations each month. The report did not reveal what the citations were for.  

These numbers show the ongoing work Animal Control is doing, and it’s a reminder that even when things look calm, they’re hard at work behind the scenes.
