Vitalant Blood Drives Coming to Williston Area – June 2–5
The Lifesaving Power of Blood Donation
Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. This could be a little girl in the ICU or a mother with Stage 3 leukemia. Our healthcare systems rely heavily on communities to generously donate blood.
One Donation Can Help Three People
Blood donation saves lives. One donation can help up to three different people, so that'll make you feel really good. Donating blood is safe and easy to do.
Summer Donations Drop, But the Need Remains
Did you know that donations in the summer decrease because fewer blood donors are available due to vacations and summer activities? However, the need for blood is constant.
Trauma Season Means High Demand
Medical professionals often refer to the period between Memorial Day and Labor Day as “Trauma Season.” As outdoor activities increase, so can traumatic injuries.

Special Summer Rewards from Vitalant
You can help prevent summer blood shortages. Vitalant will be in the Williston area this week for blood drives, and the theme is Celebrating Summer. During June, donors will receive a $10 Donor Rewards gift card and the chance to win one of two $10,000 gift cards.
You can make an appointment to donate or or simply walk in during the blood drives, whatever works best for you.
