Valentine’s Day Secrets: What North Dakota Couples Really Want
What makes the perfect Valentine's Day date? Is it a nice dinner? Getting to spend some quiet time alone? A thoughtful gift?
A new survey found that 80% of people will be celebrating Valentine's Day in some way. The answers were then used to figure out what makes the perfect date.
Tradition reigns supreme, with the perfect date kicking off with a thoughtful gesture like flowers or a gift, followed by the timeless act of picking up your partner—no rendezvous required.
Then comes the classic combo of dinner and a movie, culminating in what can only be described as 'some form of togetherness'—with 48% craving alone time and 43% dreaming of that perfect goodnight kiss. Hubba hubba, indeed!
For those opting to stay in, the top plans include cozying up to watch a show or movie (61%), preparing a delicious homemade dinner (59%), and, for 51%, the promise of intimacy.
But here's the real surprise: whether you're wining and dining out or cuddling up at home, the average couple will still shell out a considerable $114 for their Valentine's Day festivities. Even those choosing a cozy night in can expect to spend around $86.
So, North Dakota lovebirds, whether you're hitting the town or staying in, here's to celebrating love in all its glory this Valentine's Day.
