Unveiling A Sneak Peek Inside The New Bismarck Mills Fleet Farm

I got to take a stroll through the new Mills Fleet Farm in Bismarck today.

We are just a month and some small change away from the highly anticipated grand opening of Mills Fleet Farm in north Bismarck. More on that date in just a moment.

I was lucky enough to get a tour from the store General Manager, Dustin Royne. Please keep in mind this is not something the store is doing for the general public right now, so please don't ask. They are, however, hiring if you are looking for a job.

Mills Fleet Farm in Bismarck will feature a gas station with a car wash, and they will even offer a live bait shop for fishermen on their way up to Lake Sakakawea.

Just the sheer size of the parking lot alone is pretty impressive.

Now, it's time to take a peek inside the store.

The first stop was the pet department. There were several aisles set aside for your four-legged best friends.

I really liked how wide the aisles were inside the store.

It's not just about the dogs and cats at Mills Fleet Farm. They take care of your farm animals, too.

One of the areas that is still a work in progress. Car Care & Trailer Parts.

We then hit the fishing department, which looked like it was ready to roll with all kinds of gear for your next fishing trip.

Just down from fishing is the hunting and ammunition department. Mills Fleet Farm will be selling guns, too.

The aisles were stocked with plenty of ammo.

It will be nice to have another option for ammunition on the north end of town.

Plenty of decoys and blinds for bird hunters like me.

The tool department at Mills Fleet Farm is still in the process of being finished. 

Mills Fleet Farm also has a big selection of footwear.

Plenty of work boots for both men and women.

We then checked out the Outdoor Living department.

I'm calling dibs on the windmill right now. That thing is sweet. My neighbor has one just like it.

And finally, the Seasonal department.

Mills Fleet Farm's opening date has been revealed.

This new location is off of 64th Avenue on the west side of Highway 83.

As reported by yours truly back in July 2022 (we were the first to break that Mills Fleet Farm is coming to Bismarck), this new outdoor-themed farm and ranch retail store was considering setting up shop here.

Currently, there's only ONE other Mills Fleet Farm located in North Dakota (Fargo).

According to Wikipedia, this company was founded in 1955 by Stewart Mills Sr. and has stores in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and North Dakota.

Now, we know the EXACT opening date for Mills Fleet Farm.

According to a text message I received from an executive with the company and verified by my time with the store General Manager this morning, Mills Fleet Farm is planning a soft opening on May 8th and a full Grand Opening on May 9th, 2025.

We wish Mills Fleet Farm all the best in Bismarck. This will be a very nice addition to the Capital Region.
