North Dakota’s Funniest Street Name According to Reader’s Digest

North Dakota is full of oddities and little quirks. We have strange-named parks, restaurants, and towns.

The source gave a street in Binford, North Dakota, the title of the "Funniest Name" in the entire state. Have you ever heard of Whinery St.? If not, take a look while you're on your next road trip. It runs right through the middle of town.

Notice it is spelled like the word "whine," not "Wine." To my knowledge, there are no wineries in Binford. Was this street named after a person, or was it meant to be a joke? We may never know.
