Williston North Dakota’s Student-Grown Plant Sale Is Back With Affordable Spring Colors
If you’ve been staring out at your deck, patio, or yard waiting for warmer weather to finally settle into Williston and North Dakota, you’re definitely not alone. The good news is that planting season is right around the corner, and there’s a great way to freshen up your outdoor space while supporting local students at the same time.
The annual plant sale hosted by the Williston FFA is happening this week, and organizers are encouraging the community to stop by and check out the student-grown selections before they’re gone.

Student-Grown Flowers And Hanging Baskets Are Ready To Brighten Up Williston This Week
Whether you’re looking for colorful hanging baskets to brighten up the front porch or a few smaller pots to add some life around the house, there are plenty of options available. Students have been hard at work growing and preparing the plants, making this fundraiser a perfect mix of community support and springtime excitement.
Among the featured items are hanging baskets filled with combinations of potato vine, bridal veil, double petunias, calibrachoa, and geraniums. Organizers say the baskets come in random colors, so every purchase has a little surprise built in.
The sale is taking place at the old CTE parking lot on the north side from May 18 through May 22 during daytime hours. For anyone who can’t make it during the day, late appointments are also available by contacting Daniels directly at 970-370-4676.
Prices are very reasonable, making it easy to grab several plants without completely emptying the wallet. Hanging baskets range from $10 to $20, while single pots are available for $3 to $5. Payment can be made using Venmo, cash, or checks payable to Williston FFA.
