Moving the Conversation Forward

The day will focus on the workforce issues businesses and communities are facing, but organizers say the goal is to go beyond simply talking about familiar challenges.

Participants will look at what they're hearing, what's missing, where opportunities exist and, most importantly, what could be done differently.

With facilitation from ILT Academy, the summit will challenge participants to think bigger, connect the dots and explore ideas that could help shape the future of the Region One workforce.

The insights and priorities that come out of the day will help guide the development of a Region One sector strategy.

A Conversation for Business Leaders

The summit is particularly suited for business owners and managers who are dealing with workforce challenges and looking ahead to what their organizations and communities will need.

Rather than simply identifying problems, organizers hope to bring different industries and regional partners together to explore opportunities and possible solutions.

Free to Attend

The Region One Workforce Strategy Summit takes place October 20 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Williston State College Healthcare Training Facility.

The event is free, and lunch will be provided. Organizers are asking attendees to RSVP so they can plan accordingly. You can click here to register.

For businesses across Williams, Divide and McKenzie counties, this first summit offers an opportunity to help shape the conversation about where the region's workforce goes from here.
