API Chili Cook-off Heats Up Williston, ND with Over $110,000 Raised

The Williston Basin API Chapter held their 44th Annual Chili Cook-off on Saturday, March 29, 2023 at the Raymond Family Community Center. The annual chili cook-off is one of the most popular events of the year.

Attendance this year including teams and workers was 1500. Total Funds Raised by this year’s teams and sponsors was just over $110,000! With $32,000 made during the event. The band Flannel entertained the crowd with a great variety of rock and pop music.

Proceeds will be donated to multiple organizations in the community. Organizations that receive these donations help make our communities great places to live and work.

The heat was on, the competition was fierce, there were 22 teams competing this year. Congrats to the winning team, MMR. The rest of the top six finishing teams were Devon Energy (2), Creedence Energy (3), Wisco (4), Calfrac (5), and G-Style (6).
