Arrest Made in Sidney, MT Animal Cruelty Case 

A horrifying act of animal cruelty in Sidney, MT has led to an arrest. In a previous report, we shared how a man was caught on home security footage brutally attacking and dumping a cat into a dumpster in the early hours of March 18, 2025.

Thanks to a witness who alerted authorities, police arrived just in time to rescue the terrified cat before the garbage truck arrived. She was taken to a vet for care and has since been reunited with her family after being cared for by Annie Oakley Animal Rescue.

UPDATE: ARREST MADE IN ANIMAL CRUELTY INVESTIGATION 

On March 20, 2025, at approximately 7:00 AM, Sidney Police arrested Ty Edison Green, 31, of Sidney on an arrest warrant issued by Sidney City Court. Green has been charged with one count of Aggravated Animal Cruelty, a felony, in connection to the March 18 incident. He is currently being held on $50,000 bail, and his initial court appearance has not yet been scheduled.
