Volunteering is more than just an act of kindness—it’s a powerful way to strengthen communities, foster personal growth, and create meaningful connections. According to a study, volunteering for as little as one hour a week can slow down biological aging. Just that one hour a week will not only make you feel younger, but it will also boost your mental health, give you a sense of purpose, and even help you make new friends. And if you volunteer a few hours a week, the benefits are even better.

For organizations like CHI St. Alexius Health Williston, volunteers are the backbone of their mission, helping to provide exceptional care and support to patients and families. For the volunteers themselves, it’s an opportunity to give back, develop new skills, and experience the joy of making a difference.

Reflecting on 2024, CHI St. Alexius Health Williston is honored to recognize the outstanding individuals who selflessly gave their time and talents throughout the year. Their contributions not only enhanced the hospital’s ability to serve the community but also exemplified the profound impact of volunteerism on both the organization and the volunteers themselves.
